Chicago's McCormick Place

Managed by the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA), Chicago's McCormick Place is North America's premier convention facility and attracts more than three million trade and public show visitors annually. The McCormick Place Complex comprises four state-of-the-art buildings, the North and South Buildings, the West Building and the Lakeside Center (formerly the East building). These buildings have a combined total of more than 2.2 million square feet of exhibit space, 1.6 million square feet all on one level, making it the nation's largest convention center.

The hub of the convention industry, McCormick Place features:

  • 175 meeting rooms
  • Assembly seating for 18,000 people
  • 4,249 seat theater (Arie Crown)

The entire McCormick Place complex is linked by an expansive series of pedestrian promenades and sky bridges. This Grand Concourse contains retail shops, cafes, restaurants and other visitro amenities.
