Public Transportation

Regional Transportation Authority

The Regional Transporation Authority oversees Northeastern Illinois' three public transit operators; the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra Rail and Pace Bus. The RTA makes it easy for area residents to attend the Show. Visit www.rtachicago.org for more information.

South Shore Line

The South Shore Railroad makes it easy and convenient for Hoosiers to visit the Show.Besides their regular weekend service, the South Shore will now stop select weekday trains. Go to www.mysouthshoreline.com to find your way from Northern Indiana to McCormick Place.

Managed by the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (MPEA), Chicago's McCormick Place is North America's premier convention facility and attracts more than three million trade and public show visitors annually. The McCormick Place Complex comprises four state-of-the-art buildings, the North and South Buildings, the West Building and the Lakeside Center (formerly the East building).These buildings have a combined total of more than 2.2 million square feet of exhibit space, 1.6 million square feet all on one level, making it the nation's largest convention center.

The entire McCormick Place complex is linked by an expansive series of pedestrian promenades and sky bridges. This Grans Concourse contains retail shops, cafes, restaurants and other visitor amenities.
