Chicagoland's Largest Boating Event Returns to Rosemont Over Bye Week with More Boats, More Fun

CHICAGO, IL (November 2025) -- Chicago's largest and longest-running annual boating event returns to Rosemont, docking later in 2026 over ‘Bye Week’ January 28-February 1, offering a welcome respite from winter doldrums and start dreaming of summer fun. The Discover Boating Chicago Boat Show®, in partnership with Progressive®, docks at the Donald E. Stephens Convention & Conference Center (DES Convention Center) in its second year, offering more family fun, more boats for sale, and more to discover about the benefits of life on the water. Marking its 94th year as the Midwest’s go-to event for boaters and aspiring boaters alike, the 2026 Discover Boating Chicago Boat Show will showcase hundreds of new boats from the region’s top dealers, with even more cruisers and yachts than ever before, plus new models and more brands across all boat categories, from pontoons and personal watercraft to fishing boats. The boat show is the ideal place to browse, compare, and take advantage of show-only deals. Visitors can also discover the latest boating accessories, marine electronics, and on-the-water essentials.

The boat show is bringing back its “5 After 5” deal on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, offering discounted admission after 5pm, perfect for those looking to explore the show after work while enjoying the surrounding nightlife and dining options.
